Day 1. San Jose, Costa Rica.
Meeting at the airport with a Bilingual speaking guide, private transfer to the hotel in San Jose (4*: Barceló San José Palacio or Presidente, 5*: Costa Rica Marriott or Doubltree Cariari by Hilton San José). (without meal).
Day 2. Cahuita National Park.
early in the morning you will go to the Atlantic Ocean (individual tour with Russian speaking guide). You will pass through Braulio Carrillo National Park striking by its flora and on the way you will see many banana plantations. A short stop in the town of Limon, the capital of the province. Here you learn the history of the Costa Rica’s discovery by Christopher Columbus and see the place where the first colonists set foot on the territory of this country. Then move on to the beautiful Caribbean coast of Cahuita National Park. This park has a beautiful white sand beach, a coastal coral reef with rich marine life and an abundance of white-faced cappuccino monkeys. At lunch you will enjoy traditional Caribbean meal. Accommodation in Namuwoki Lodge Hotel. (breakfast/lunch).
Day 3. Puerto Viejo.
After breakfast you can spend the whole day relaxing, enjoying the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea and beautiful beaches with coconut palms. For outdoor enthusiasts we recommend an extra cost ($100 per person) tour to the Indian reservation, village Yorki, where you will see how the indigenous population lives far away from civilization. Visit the plantations of cocoa and try archery. This tour includes lunch. Accommodation in the same hotel. (breakfast).
Day 4. Tortuguero National Park
After breakfast you will be transferred by collective transport to the settlement Siquirres and then to the National Park Tortuguero, located in the northern part of the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. On the way to Caño Blanco, where you will board a boat and follow the river Parismina to natural channels of Tortuguero. Accommodation in Pachira Loge Hotel 3*; lunch, and walk across the channel of the park (Entrance to the park is $15 – not included), then visit the museum of the Green Turtles in the settlement of Tortuguero (collective tour) and the beach where the reptiles lay their eggs (from July to September). Night tour to observe the turtles on the beach at this time is $30, dinner at the hotel. (breakfast/lunch/dinner).
Day 5. Return to San Jose.
Early flight to San Jose on a small plane of national air travel company (Nature Air). Then you can go to your hotel on the beach (transfer’s price is not included) or stay at the airport waiting for your flight. (breakfast).
